Jon Connor

CEO

​

Jon Connor is the CEO of Stand Up For Equity and is currently pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Business at the University of Pheonix. He was born and raised in central Missouri and is passionate about the law and government. Jon’s focus is on bringing the community together to create positive change in state and local governments.

Samuel Pummill

VP of Development

Sam Pummill is a Chicago-based composer and non-profit administrator. Sam is currently pursuing a Masters in Performing Arts Administration from Roosevelt University, and he plans to use the administrative skills he learns through that program to help create an organization that can make real and significant changes to better the lives of minority communities in his home state of Missouri. Sam’s main focuses lie in mental health issues caused by poverty, disabilities, discrimination, and institutional racism.

Shamika Pegue

VP of Operations

​

Shamika R. Pegue is a native of Kansas City, Missouri. She is a graduate of Central Methodist University with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and Sociology, Summa Cum Laude, and of The Chicago School with a Masters of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis. Shamika is a provisionally licensed Behavior Analyst in the state of Missouri and her work in the mental and behavioral healthcare fields continues to fuel her passion and love for underserved minority communities. Additionally, with her personal experiences as a first generation college graduate, and one of only a few African American women working in the field of behavior analysis she has firsthand insight on how privilege or lack of privilege alters opportunity. It is this insight, knowledge, and passion she brings to the arena of social reform and the SUFE organization as the Vice President of Operations.

Quizonte Falls

VP of Marketing

​

Quizonte Falls, is a recent graduate of Central Methodist University and VP or Marketing for SUFE. He has worked as an Independent Benefits Consultant, as well as a Direct Support Professional for the Braun Home. Like some of the members of SUFE, Quizonte also grew up in a small town. Quizonte believes that SUFE will start as a group of individuals, and we slowly become a household name. Quizonte hopes to bring change one day at a time.

Micah Jeffries

VP of Communications

​

Micah Jeffries is a chef and stand-comedian based in Columbia. Micah is serving as the VP of Communications for SUFE and is currently finishing an Interdisciplinary Degree from Central Methodist. Micah is the son of two pastors, and grew up in small towns all over the state of Missouri.  Micah’s hope for the group is to change the narrative for future generations.
